Núria Pié, an artist and master craftswoman, makes small ceramic pieces that are creative and unique to her workshop in Barcelona. She works with artists, companies and designers on pottery making processes, with the ultimate aim of sidestepping standard ceramic techniques and traditional materials.

Under the slogan “Give Shape to your Sounds”, Altaphone is a singular ceramic loudspeaker. Compatible with most mobile telephones, its overriding principle is to simply amplify sound. It does not consume electricity, can be carried anywhere, increases decibels and is eco-friendly. All of the loudspeakers are decorated by hand and are all different. Besides its functionality, it is also a decorative object.
