Teresa Rosa

Teresa Rosa Aguayo (1954, Córdoba,) has lived in Barcelona since 1979. She studied applied arts at the Escuela Mateo Inurria, Córdoba, and the Escola Massana in Barcelona. She then continued her training, studying in diferent cities and countries such as: Fundación de Gremios, Madrid; DashHusflid School of Applied Arts in Keteminde, Denmark; Museo Textil de Barcelona; Centro de Documentación and Museo Textil de Terrassa, among others.

Since 1985 she has shown her works in more than eighty exhibitions in different countries such as Spain, Belgium, Portugal, France, Andorra, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Cuba, Taiwan and Japan.

Solo exhibitions include: Livings, Gallery. Kobe, Japan; Galería Hipòtesi,, Barcelona; Sala Jaimes, Barcelona; MUCBE. Museo de Arte de Benicarló. Castelló; Torre del Castillo de Denia, Alicante. Installation “Cor-Cor” and Galeria Carmen del Campo, Córdoba.

2019 Awarded the Nacional de Artesanía 2019, Generalitat de Cataluña CCAM.

2006 Awarded the ART FAD de Oro, Barcelona. Among other awards.
