La Tornería is a third-generation family business that has evolved into a woodturning workshop that provides a customised service tailored to the needs of every customer. It has not lost sight of its essence to hand down know-how and craft working methods that characterise it as a family business, whilst also seeking to come up with modern designs and solutions. A perfect match between tradition and modernity.

Lagoon is a highly technical piece made from European ash wood, raffia and esparto grass. In this particular case, once the ash wood has been worked, a hardening surface treatment consisting of burning the wood has been applied. The vegetable and fibrous materials have been carefully integrated and fused with the garment as a whole, woven and interwoven in such a way as to give a continuation of the cellulose structure of the wood The final finish of the garment has been achieved by mixing resinous plant components with alcoholic and accelerating agents. In this way, the authors have been able to stabilise the materials, accentuate the colouring and give it a long-lasting protection. The end result is a 100% organic, living and moving piece.
